Chase ‘Cauliflower’ Brown, long time friend of the independent wrestling scene and one of our favorite talents and people, reached out this week to advise on a new film about the trials and tribulations of one guy’s chase for the brass ring.
Brown co-produced and starred in ‘Choke Hold,’ a gorgeous ~18min film by Max McGillivray, that is the rarest authentic capture of the journey. Nothing syrupy to be seen here, and Choke Hold finishes with a finale that says so much while saying so little. I’ll leave this spoiler free: Choke Hold is the high, the low, the grind, disappointment and victory in a typical wrestling day/week.
